Fully tested and verified

X-Block® has undergone extensive beta testing and lab tests. These tests have been verified and regulary monitored by third party air auditing firms and/or engineering firms specialized in air compression. Separate lab tests were done by the Technical University of Lulea. Three of the beta tests were also verified by the Swedish Department of Energy.
In Beta test 1, the results are shown in a data feed provided by air flow meter readings taken before and after the installation of the device. These results were verified separately by AF Consulting, an engineering firm under the guidance of the Swedish Department of Energy. The results demonstatrate a 63% savings in air flow and a drop in system pressure of 1.3 bars. These results are similar to other beta tests performed.
In addition, X-Block has undergone extensive lab tests. In Lab test 1, Lab test 2 and Lab test 3 the air savings are documented before and after the use of X-Block®. These lab tests were verified by AF-Consulting, an independent Swedish engineering firm. The tests use the same cylinder (25mm diameter, 160mm length) and the same air compressor. The three test results show the potential increased speeds and air consumption savings achievable:
-
Lab test 1: a 3- kilo load with speed regulators
-
Lab test 2: no load with speed regulators
-
Lab test 3: no load and no speed regulators.
See test videos for film clips of lab tests and test equipment.
The Technical University of Lulea has also tested X-Block® in a separate independent study with similar energy saving results.

Below are pictures of the first beta test done at Stenvalls Tra, a sawmill located in Northern Sweden, in July, 2006. As part of a series of tests financed by the Swedish Department of Energy, this and the other sites are being continuously monitored and verified.
